The beach, birds and mountains near Apollo Bay in Victoria, on the Great Ocean Road, are the source of most of my inspiration and joy!
I work mainly in watercolours and printmaking and lately also combining the two mediums and techniques in monotypes. Interspersed, I dabble in oil paintings, textiles and pastels – my gallery gives an overview.
I studied art at Melbourne University and taught secondary school art in my early career. I retired from full time work in 2016 and have been able to paint, exhibit, offer classes and workshops and explore my creative side ever since.
I have exhibited in the Gryphon Gallery, Meat Market Gallery Melbourne, Arts Inc Gallery Apollo Bay, Diamond Valley Artist Society exhibitions, Birregurra Art Show, Apollo Bay annual art show and other local places and venues.
The medium most people like to learn with me is watercolour painting or collagraph printmaking.
I have been featured in the Otway Life Magazine.
